Stellar Civic Review

Editorial policy

Stellar Civic Review aims for clear, careful writing about civic symbols, public customs and shared memory. We distinguish what can be stated plainly from what calls for interpretation.

Accuracy and context

We check factual statements against suitable source material before publication and provide enough context for readers to understand the subject. When interpretations differ, we describe the difference rather than presenting one reading as settled fact. Uncertainty should be stated plainly.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for relevance to the Review's subject and interest to readers. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. We do not invent sources, quotations, expertise or evidence.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, actionable reports and correct confirmed mistakes clearly. A correction should identify what changed without obscuring the original error.

Partner material and illustrations

Any paid, supplied or collaborative material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where applicable, they are identified as such and are not presented as documentary evidence.
